Screenshot means capturing the selected area or the whole area of a frame on a display. Now not only you can take screen shot but also edit the screen shot. To take screenshot in windows 10 pc we came with 4 different methods.
4 Methods to take screenshot
Screenshot using windows logo key
While capturing the screen frame by windows key you can capture the full display not any custom area. But it is useful when taking quick screenshot.
To screenshot using windows logo key press "windows logo key"+ "Prt Sc".
Screenshot Using Paint
Follow these steps to screenshot using Paint-
- Locate the prt sc (print screen) button on your keyboard and press it.
- Now open paint app.
- Locate Paste option and click it or You can simply press "ctrl"+ "v".
- Now Save it.
The only disadvantage of screenshot using paint is you can capture only full screen not a custom area.
Screenshot Using Snipping tool
You can screenshot not only full screen but also a custom area of your display by snipping tool. It features various editing options like pen tool, highlighter to highlight any area. Steps to screenshot using snipping tool-
- Press start (windows logo key) button
- In the search bar type snipping tool and hit enter
- Click on new option
- Select the area which you want
- You can edit if you want
- Now save it.
Screenshot Using Light shot
Light shot is an app less than 3 MB and highly useful for taking screenshot. I personally use this application and recommend you to use this app.

Light shot have many options like edit with pen, copy the image, share directly on social Media, Search the selected area on google image search, highlighter, add rectangles, add arrow sign, add a line.
First install Light shot. To capture a screenshot press the prt sc button, edit if you want, Click save icon to save screen shot.
